We’re thrilled to welcome Emma Iacovou, highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist, to the Physios of Mt Eliza team!
With a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, Emma has dedicated her career to helping athletes perform at their peak. She recently completed a Sport & Exercise Physiotherapy Masters in 2024, further enhancing her expertise.
Currently entering her fifth season as Head Physiotherapist for the Melbourne Vixens in the Suncorp Super Netball competition, Emma has specialised in netball across all levels and ages. Her deep understanding of the sport and her commitment to excellence have made her a valuable asset to the Vixens and she consults to the Australian Diamonds Netball Team.
Prior to her role with the Vixens, Emma honed her skills at our sister clinic, Langwarrin Sports Medicine Centre, and served as the Physiotherapist for the Peninsula Waves VNL Netball Team. This extensive experience has equipped her with a wealth of knowledge in the prevention and management of sports injuries from juvenile to elite level.
